TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Last Updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms and Conditions govern use of the Medical Courier Association (MCA) website and participation in MCA Membership, the Medical Courier Network, Medical Courier Training, MCP and CMCP Certification, Business Development services, bundles, credential verification, and other MCA programs and services.

By accessing this website, submitting an enrollment, purchasing a program or service, joining the Medical Courier Network, or participating in an MCA program, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

WEBSITE USE

The MCA website provides information related to medical courier services, professional standards, training, credentials, certification, professional development, networking, staffing, and business development.

Users agree to use the website for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not disrupt, damage, misuse, or interfere with the website, its services, MCA programs, or other users.

MCA MEMBERSHIP

MCA Membership provides entry into the MCA Professional Path and access to the Medical Courier Network, applicable membership benefits, professional resources, verification services, industry connections, and enrollment opportunities.

MCA Membership includes the benefits, training, resources, and services expressly identified as included at the time of enrollment. Additional professional certifications, Business Development services, website development, route preparation, contract preparation, and other separately priced programs or services are not included unless specifically identified as part of the selected enrollment or bundle.

MCA may establish or update membership requirements, benefits, renewal terms, professional standards, network features, and participation requirements.

MEDICAL COURIER NETWORK

The Medical Courier Network is MCA’s nationwide professional network connecting medical couriers, independent courier businesses, healthcare organizations, employers, clients, and other participants in medical courier services and healthcare logistics.

The network may provide access to:

  • Professional connections
  • Member and credential verification
  • Training and certification information
  • Professional visibility
  • Industry resources
  • Leads and referrals
  • Medical courier jobs
  • Independent contractor opportunities
  • Scheduled courier routes
  • Medical courier contracts
  • Business Development opportunities

Network access does not guarantee that a participant will be listed, contacted, selected, hired, referred, awarded work, or offered any particular opportunity.

MCA may establish eligibility, qualification, certification, location, conduct, performance, and participation requirements for particular network features or opportunities. Access may vary based on membership status, program participation, credentials, certification level, experience, location, organizational requirements, and availability.

Participation in the Medical Courier Network does not create an employment, agency, partnership, joint-venture, franchise, fiduciary, or independent-contractor relationship between MCA and any member, courier, business, healthcare organization, employer, client, or other participant.

Unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement, MCA is not a party to employment, contractor, service, referral, route, or delivery agreements entered into between network participants.

TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

MCA offers Medical Courier Training, HIPAA Training for Medical Couriers, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training for Medical Couriers, Medical Courier Pro (MCP) Certification, Certified Medical Courier Professional (CMCP) Certification, and related Professional Development programs.

Participants must successfully complete the educational materials, training modules, Applied Professional Exercises, activities, tasks, assignments, competency assessments, certification examinations, passing standards, prerequisites, and other requirements applicable to the selected program before receiving the corresponding credential or certification.

MCP and CMCP Certification are progressive professional credentials that combine professional education, structured applied experience, and demonstrated competency. Applied Professional Exercises use standardized operational scenarios, case-based activities, professional decisions, and other structured applications designed to evaluate a participant’s ability to apply program concepts to medical courier and healthcare logistics situations.

MCP Certification requires completion of applicable MCP professional education, six Applied Professional Exercises consisting of 30 scored applied operational decisions, and the MCP Certification Assessment, together with applicable prerequisite and passing requirements.

CMCP Certification requires completion of applicable CMCP advanced professional education, eight Advanced Applied Professional Exercises consisting of 48 scored advanced operational decisions, and the CMCP Certification Assessment, together with applicable prerequisite and passing requirements.

Unless MCA expressly states otherwise, Applied Professional Exercises and certification assessments are standardized educational and competency-evaluation activities and do not constitute employment, actual delivery assignments, field experience, clinical experience, or work performed for a healthcare organization or client.

MCA may establish minimum passing scores, completion requirements, attempt limits, remediation requirements, prerequisite requirements, and other standards for individual training and certification programs. Successful completion of one component does not constitute completion of a certification when additional required components remain outstanding.

MCA credentials and certifications represent completion of MCA program requirements and alignment with applicable MCA Professional Standards. They do not constitute government licensing, employment, legal authorization, or a guarantee that a participant satisfies every requirement established by an employer, client, healthcare organization, insurance provider, or government agency.

MCP and CMCP Certification recognize successful completion of MCA’s applicable education, applied competency, and certification-assessment requirements and should not be represented as evidence of employment, guaranteed field experience, government licensure, or third-party accreditation unless expressly stated by MCA.

Participants are responsible for determining and meeting any additional requirements applicable to their employment, contracted services, location, vehicle, insurance, business, clients, and operations.

CERTIFICATION INTEGRITY

Participants must personally complete required training, Applied Professional Exercises, assessments, and certification examinations unless MCA expressly authorizes another arrangement.

Participants may not obtain, provide, distribute, publish, sell, share, or use unauthorized answer keys, examination questions, Applied Professional Exercise answers, or other restricted assessment or credentialing content.

Participants may not misrepresent their identity, completion of program requirements, assessment results, professional experience, certification status, or eligibility for an MCA credential.

MCA may review, withhold, invalidate, suspend, or revoke a credential or certification when MCA reasonably determines that program requirements were not properly completed, information was falsified, assessment integrity was compromised, credentialing materials were misused, or a credential was obtained or represented improperly.

MCA may require additional verification, reassessment, remediation, identity confirmation, or other reasonable measures when necessary to protect the integrity of its credentials and certification programs.

MEDICAL COURIER, HIPAA AND OSHA TRAINING

MCA Medical Courier, HIPAA, and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens training credentials document successful completion of the applicable MCA training program and requirements.

Training does not replace employer-specific policies, workplace procedures, exposure-control plans, job-specific instruction, continuing education, or other training required by an employer, client, healthcare organization, or regulatory authority.

Participants and organizations remain responsible for evaluating and meeting requirements applicable to their particular roles and operations.

CREDENTIAL AND MEMBERSHIP VERIFICATION

MCA may maintain records related to membership, training completion, credentials, certification, and participation in MCA programs.

Employers, healthcare organizations, clients, logistics providers, and other authorized parties may request verification of a participant’s MCA status. Subject to the MCA Privacy Policy, applicable authorization, and verification procedures, MCA may confirm limited professional information, including:

  • Participant’s name
  • Membership status
  • Program or training completed
  • Credential or certificate number
  • Certification status
  • Completion or issuance date
  • Current standing with MCA

For MCP and CMCP credentials, certification status may reflect successful completion of applicable professional education, Applied Professional Exercises, competency requirements, certification assessments, and other requirements established by MCA.

MCA may decline or limit a verification request when identity, authorization, or the purpose of the request cannot reasonably be confirmed.

Verification confirms only the MCA information expressly provided. It does not constitute an endorsement, employment recommendation, background check, guarantee of performance, or confirmation that the participant satisfies every requirement of a particular organization or assignment.

PROFESSIONAL PROFILES AND INFORMATION SHARING

Participants may be invited to submit professional, business, credential, certification, service-area, experience, or contact information for use within the Medical Courier Network.

MCA may use or share approved information with healthcare organizations, employers, clients, courier businesses, or other network participants for verification, staffing, referral, networking, or opportunity-related purposes, as described in the MCA Privacy Policy and subject to applicable consent.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that submitted information is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading. Participants must promptly notify MCA of material changes affecting their membership, credentials, qualifications, availability, business, insurance, or professional standing.

MCA may decline, edit, restrict, suspend, or remove network information that is inaccurate, outdated, misleading, unlawful, inappropriate, or inconsistent with MCA requirements.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

MCA Business Development services may include business setup, professional websites, scheduled-route preparation, contract preparation, operational development, service positioning, and related support.

Business Development services are separate from MCA Professional Development training and certification unless expressly included within a specific enrollment or bundle. Completion of MCP or CMCP Certification does not automatically include individualized business setup, route development, contract development, customer acquisition, website development, consulting, or other Business Development services.

These services are educational, developmental, and administrative in nature. Participants remain responsible for business decisions, legal formation, licensing, taxes, insurance, regulatory compliance, contracts, pricing, service delivery, and professional advice specific to their operations.

MCA does not guarantee that Business Development services will result in leads, referrals, clients, routes, contracts, revenue, profitability, or any particular business outcome.

LEADS, REFERRALS AND OPPORTUNITIES

MCA may provide access to available leads, referrals, professional connections, jobs, routes, contracts, staffing requests, or other business opportunities through the Medical Courier Network or other MCA services.

Participation in MCA Membership, the Medical Courier Network, training, certification, or Business Development services does not guarantee employment, delivery assignments, leads, referrals, routes, contracts, clients, revenue, profitability, or business results.

Opportunities depend on availability, location, experience, qualifications, certification level, client requirements, professional performance, market conditions, and other factors outside MCA’s control.

MCA does not guarantee the identity, conduct, reliability, qualifications, financial condition, insurance, licensing, legal compliance, suitability, or performance of any participant, employer, client, courier, contractor, healthcare organization, business, or third party.

Participants are responsible for independently evaluating opportunities, organizations, working conditions, compensation, contracts, insurance requirements, delivery requirements, and other terms before accepting work or entering an agreement.

HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS, EMPLOYERS AND CLIENTS

Healthcare organizations, employers, clients, courier companies, and other parties using MCA staffing, verification, referral, or network services remain responsible for independently evaluating courier professionals and service providers.

This responsibility may include confirming:

  • Identity and eligibility
  • Credentials and certification
  • Experience and qualifications
  • Driver’s license and motor-vehicle history
  • Background-screening requirements
  • Drug-screening requirements
  • Vehicle suitability
  • Insurance coverage
  • Business registration
  • Regulatory and contractual compliance
  • Ability to meet assignment-specific requirements

MCA membership, training, certification, verification, or network participation does not replace an organization’s hiring, contracting, credentialing, compliance, or due-diligence procedures.

Each organization remains responsible for its selection decisions, workplace requirements, service agreements, compensation arrangements, supervision, and compliance obligations.

INDEPENDENT RELATIONSHIPS

Medical couriers and independent courier businesses using the Medical Courier Network operate independently unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise.

Participants are responsible for negotiating and documenting their own compensation, schedules, service requirements, liability allocation, insurance obligations, payment terms, and other contractual conditions.

MCA is not responsible for wages, contractor payments, taxes, benefits, expenses, scheduling, supervision, service disputes, nonpayment, property damage, personal injury, delivery loss, regulatory violations, or other issues arising from an independent relationship between network participants.

PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS AND CONDUCT

Participants are expected to support MCA Professional Standards and conduct themselves responsibly, lawfully, safely, and professionally.

MCA may suspend, deny, restrict, or revoke membership, credentials, certification, verification, network participation, professional listings, or access to opportunities when a participant:

  • Provides false or misleading information
  • Misrepresents an MCA credential or certification
  • Violates applicable program or network requirements
  • Engages in unlawful, fraudulent, unsafe, abusive, or unprofessional conduct
  • Misuses MCA materials, branding, verification, referrals, or network access
  • Fails to maintain or satisfy applicable membership, training, credential, certification, continuing-education, or professional-standing requirements
  • Uses network information for unauthorized solicitation, harassment, discrimination, fraud, or another improper purpose
  • Creates a material risk to MCA, network participants, clients, patients, or the public

Any suspension, restriction, denial, or revocation does not automatically create a right to a refund.

PAYMENTS

Payments are processed through secure third-party providers, including Stripe and any payment-plan providers available at checkout.

MCA does not directly store complete credit-card or banking information. Payment providers operate under their own terms, privacy policies, eligibility requirements, and payment schedules.

Participants are responsible for reviewing the price, program contents, payment terms, and applicable policies before completing enrollment.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Refund and cancellation eligibility is governed by the terms disclosed for the selected program, service, bundle, or checkout transaction.

Once access to a program, training manual, educational materials, Applied Professional Exercises, assessment, certification examination, digital content, credentialing process, customized work, website development, consulting, network service, or other service has been provided or started, payments may become non-refundable to the extent disclosed at enrollment and permitted by applicable law.

Payment-plan obligations are also subject to the terms of the applicable third-party payment provider.

Suspension, restriction, or removal resulting from a violation of these Terms does not automatically cancel outstanding payment obligations or establish eligibility for a refund.

PROGRAM AND NETWORK CHANGES

MCA may update program content, educational materials, training modules, professional standards, Applied Professional Exercises, activities, tasks, assignments, assessments, examinations, passing standards, prerequisite requirements, credential formats, benefits, services, network features, eligibility requirements, or participation requirements to maintain and improve its programs and operations.

MCA may also modify, suspend, restrict, replace, or discontinue a network feature, opportunity category, program, or service.

Material changes will not remove credentials already validly earned unless suspension or revocation is warranted under these Terms.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

MCA training materials, manuals, educational content, Applied Professional Exercises, operational scenarios, case studies, activities, tasks, assignments, assessment questions, examinations, answer keys, scoring criteria, certificates, credential designs, website content, logos, branding, systems, network materials, databases, and other program materials are owned by or licensed to the Medical Courier Association.

Participants may use issued credentials and approved MCA references solely to represent their actual and current status.

MCA materials may not be copied, reproduced, photographed, recorded, captured, resold, distributed, modified, published, posted, transmitted, shared, scraped, uploaded to third-party platforms, used to create unauthorized databases, used to develop competing training or certification materials, or otherwise reproduced or exploited without prior written permission from MCA.

Participants may not distribute, publish, sell, post, transmit, or otherwise disclose MCA assessment questions, Applied Professional Exercises, answer keys, correct responses, scoring criteria, or other restricted credentialing content.

The names “Medical Courier Association,” “MCA,” “Medical Courier Network,” “Medical Courier Pro,” “MCP,” “Certified Medical Courier Professional,” and “CMCP,” together with associated logos and credential designs, may not be used in a manner that falsely suggests membership, certification, sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, or authorization.

EXTERNAL LINKS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The website may contain links to payment providers, external websites, applications, employers, healthcare organizations, courier companies, or other third-party services.

MCA is not responsible for the availability, content, security, terms, privacy practices, products, services, representations, or conduct of third parties.

Access to or inclusion of a third party within the Medical Courier Network does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by MCA.

DISCLAIMER

MCA provides Professional Development, education, training, Applied Professional Exercises, competency assessment, credentialing, certification, networking, verification, staffing-support, referral, and Business Development services. MCA does not provide legal, tax, insurance, employment, medical, or regulatory advice.

MCA training, Applied Professional Exercises, and certification assessments are educational and credentialing activities. They do not constitute actual healthcare services, clinical services, employment, supervised fieldwork, or performance of delivery services for a healthcare organization or client.

MCA does not guarantee that its website, programs, network, listings, verification services, referrals, or other services will be uninterrupted, error-free, continuously available, or suitable for every participant’s objectives.

Participants and organizations should consult qualified professionals regarding requirements applicable to their circumstances and operations.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by applicable law, MCA is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or business-related losses arising from website use, program participation, network participation, third-party services, employment decisions, business decisions, referrals, contracts, delivery services, or the conduct of participants or third parties.

This includes, without limitation, loss of income, revenue, profits, opportunities, clients, contracts, data, reputation, business value, or anticipated savings.

Healthcare organizations, employers, clients, and other businesses remain responsible for independently evaluating courier professionals and service providers before engaging their services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

PRIVACY

Information submitted through the website, MCA programs, credential-verification services, and the Medical Courier Network is handled in accordance with the MCA Privacy Policy.

Participants should review the Privacy Policy to understand how MCA collects, uses, verifies, stores, and shares information.

MODIFICATIONS

MCA may update these Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect changes in programs, training, certification requirements, credentialing standards, services, network functionality, website functionality, business practices, or legal requirements.

Updates will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the website, Medical Courier Network, or MCA services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
