TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern membership, training, certification, Professional Development, Business Development, Medical Courier Network participation, verification services, and other programs and services provided by the Medical Courier Association (“MCA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By enrolling in, purchasing, accessing, or participating in an MCA program or service, you agree to these Terms.

MEMBERSHIP

MCA Membership provides access to applicable member benefits, professional standards, training, resources, the Medical Courier Network, and eligibility to progress through the MCA Professional Path.

MCA Membership includes 3-in-1 foundational training consisting of:

• Medical Courier Training
• HIPAA Training for Medical Couriers
• OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Training for Medical Couriers

Successful completion of applicable training and assessment requirements results in three verifiable 

Certificates of Completion.

Membership does not guarantee employment, independent contractor opportunities, courier routes, contracts, clients, referrals, introductions, business revenue, or any specific professional or financial outcome.

TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION

MCA provides a progressive medical courier training and certification path consisting of foundational training, specialized professional training and certification, and advanced professional training and certification.

MCA Membership + 3-in-1 Training establishes the foundational level of the MCA Professional Development path.

Medical Courier Pro (MCP) 4-in-1 Training & Certification combines specialized medical courier training with applicable professional education, competency requirements, assessments, and certification requirements established by MCA.

MCP specialized training includes:

• Specimen Handling & Transport for Medical Couriers
• Hazardous Materials (HazMat) Awareness for Medical Couriers
• Temperature-Controlled Transport / Cold Chain for Medical Couriers
• Chain of Custody & Documentation for Medical Couriers

Successful completion of applicable MCP requirements results in the corresponding specialized training credentials and Medical Courier Pro (MCP) Certification.

Certified Medical Courier Professional (CMCP) 5-in-1 Training & Certification combines advanced medical courier and healthcare logistics training with applicable professional education, competency requirements, assessments, and certification requirements established by MCA.

CMCP advanced training includes:

• Pharmaceutical & Healthcare Product Logistics
• Quality Assurance & Quality Control
• Regulatory & Compliance Management
• Risk Management
• Healthcare Logistics Operations

Successful completion of applicable CMCP requirements results in the corresponding advanced training credentials and Certified Medical Courier Professional (CMCP) Certification.

MCA may revise curriculum, training content, assessment methods, competency requirements, prerequisites, passing standards, or certification requirements when reasonably necessary to maintain or improve program quality, professional standards, or industry relevance.

CERTIFICATION INTEGRITY

Participants must personally complete required training, coursework, exercises, activities, assessments, and certification examinations unless MCA expressly authorizes another arrangement.

Participants may not share, reproduce, distribute, publish, sell, disclose, or provide unauthorized access to restricted training, exercise, assessment, examination, scoring, or answer content.

MCA reserves the right to review participant records, require additional verification, invalidate assessment results, withhold credentials, suspend certification, or revoke certification when there is evidence of academic dishonesty, misrepresentation, unauthorized assistance, falsification, credential misuse, or other conduct inconsistent with MCA requirements or professional standards.

TRAINING CREDENTIALS

MCA training credentials document successful completion of applicable MCA training requirements.

Training credentials may include foundational Medical Courier, HIPAA, and OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens training; MCP specialized training; and CMCP advanced training.

MCA training and certification programs are educational and professional credentialing programs. They do not replace employer-specific training, client-specific requirements, government licenses, permits, endorsements, regulatory approvals, or other requirements that may apply to a particular position, organization, jurisdiction, shipment, material, or service.

Participants and organizations remain responsible for determining and satisfying requirements applicable to their specific activities.

CREDENTIAL AND MEMBERSHIP VERIFICATION

MCA may provide verification of membership, training credentials, and professional certification status to employers, healthcare organizations, laboratories, logistics providers, clients, contracting organizations, or other parties with a legitimate verification purpose.

Verification may include:

• Participant name
• MCA membership status
• Training program or course completed
• Credential or certificate number
• Completion or issue date
• Medical Courier Pro (MCP) Certification status
• Certified Medical Courier Professional (CMCP) Certification status
• Credential standing or validity, when applicable

MCA may verify foundational, specialized, and advanced training credentials earned through MCA programs as well as MCP and CMCP certification status.

Verification confirms MCA records only and does not constitute an employment recommendation, guarantee of performance, background check, government license verification, or representation that an individual satisfies every requirement of a particular employer, client, contract, jurisdiction, or assignment.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

The MCA Professional Development path is designed to provide progressive education, training, professional credentialing, competency development, and certification for medical courier professionals.

The Professional Development path may include:

MCA Membership + 3-in-1 Training → MCP 4-in-1 Training & Certification → CMCP 5-in-1 Training & Certification.

Participants may progress through applicable programs according to eligibility requirements and prerequisites established by MCA.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

MCA may provide Business Development programs and services related to medical courier jobs, scheduled courier routes, medical courier contracts, business development, websites, professional positioning, operations, sales and marketing, and related business topics.

Business Development services are educational, developmental, informational, and support-oriented. Participation does not guarantee employment, routes, contracts, clients, revenue, profitability, business success, introductions, or placement.

Participants remain responsible for business decisions, legal compliance, insurance, licensing, taxes, pricing, contracts, operations, client relationships, and other requirements associated with operating a business or performing courier services.

MEDICAL COURIER NETWORK

The Medical Courier Network is a professional network intended to connect medical courier professionals, healthcare organizations, laboratories, logistics providers, employers, contracting organizations, and other relevant participants.

Network participation does not guarantee visibility, leads, employment, referrals, assignments, routes, contracts, introductions, or business opportunities.

MCA may establish or modify network eligibility requirements, participation standards, profile requirements, verification requirements, professional standards, and other network policies.

EMPLOYMENT, CONTRACT AND BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES

MCA is not an employer of members or program participants solely because they participate in MCA membership, training, certification, networking, or Business Development programs.

MCA does not guarantee employment, independent contractor status, courier assignments, routes, contracts, clients, compensation, income, or business results.

Organizations may contact MCA seeking trained, certified, or qualified medical courier professionals. MCA may provide information, referrals, network access, staffing support, or other assistance when appropriate. Participation in MCA programs may help establish professional qualifications for such opportunities but does not guarantee selection, engagement, or placement.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Because MCA programs may provide immediate access to proprietary digital training materials, educational content, exercises, activities, assessments, certification examinations, credentialing processes, resources, templates, network access, or other digital services, purchases may become non-refundable once access has been provided or program participation has begun, except where otherwise required by law or expressly stated by MCA in writing.

Any approved refund, cancellation, transfer, or credit is subject to MCA policies applicable to the specific program or service.

Failure to complete a program, pass an assessment, use available services, or obtain a desired professional or business outcome does not by itself create a right to a refund.

PROGRAM AND NETWORK CHANGES

MCA may update program content, educational materials, training courses, modules, professional standards, exercises, activities, assessments, examinations, passing standards, prerequisite requirements, credential formats, benefits, services, network features, eligibility requirements, or participation requirements to maintain and improve its programs and operations.

Reasonable program updates do not automatically entitle participants to refunds, replacement services, or additional compensation.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

MCA training materials, manuals, course content, training exercises, operational scenarios, case studies, activities, assessments, examination questions, answer keys, scoring criteria, certificates, credential designs, website content, graphics, program structures, professional standards, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to MCA and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

MCA program names, credential names, and designations, including Medical Courier Pro, MCP, Certified Medical Courier Professional, and CMCP, may not be used in a manner that falsely represents certification, authorization, affiliation, endorsement, or credential status.

Participants may not reproduce, distribute, sell, publish, sublicense, commercially exploit, or create unauthorized derivative works from MCA proprietary materials without written permission.

PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT AND CREDENTIAL USE

Members and credential holders are expected to represent their MCA membership, training, and certification status accurately.

Participants may not claim credentials they have not earned, misrepresent credential status, alter MCA certificates or verification records, permit another person to use their credentials, or represent MCA training or certification as a government license or authorization when it is not.

MCA may suspend or revoke membership, credentials, certification, network participation, or access to services for material misrepresentation, fraud, credential misuse, serious professional misconduct, or violations of these Terms.

DISCLAIMER

MCA provides Professional Development, education, training, competency assessment, credentialing, certification, networking, verification, staffing-support, referral, and Business Development services.

MCA training, educational activities, competency assessments, and certification examinations are educational and credentialing activities. They do not constitute healthcare services, clinical services, legal advice, regulatory approval, employment, supervised fieldwork, or performance of delivery services for a healthcare organization or client.

Information provided by MCA is intended for educational and professional development purposes. Participants are responsible for determining the laws, regulations, employer requirements, client requirements, insurance requirements, licensing requirements, and operational standards applicable to their activities.

MCA does not warrant or guarantee employment, income, business performance, contract awards, route assignments, client acquisition, regulatory approval, or any particular professional outcome.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, MCA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from participation in MCA programs, use of MCA materials, reliance on educational information, network participation, business decisions, employment decisions, contracting activities, or use of MCA credentials.

Participants remain responsible for their own professional, operational, legal, financial, and business decisions.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

MCA may revise these Terms periodically to reflect changes in programs, services, policies, laws, professional standards, or operational requirements.

The current version will be posted on the MCA website with the applicable “Last Updated” date. Continued participation in MCA programs or services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
